Anson Dorrance is the most successful coach in the history of women's soccer. In 1991 he led the US national team to victory in the inaugural Women's World Cup. His teams at the University of North Carolina have won 14 of 16 NCAA Women's National Championships and his collegiate record stands at 417-16-11.
